In my decades spent living in London I became increasingly drawn to photographing its array of Brutalist structures, from the carefully maintained walkways of The Barbican, to the desolate backdrops of Thamesmead and Robin Hood Gardens.

So seemingly disconnected from the natural world, yet based inspired by its geometric forms and principles, there is no denying the aesthetic hold that this dramatic architectural style where light and dark collide has over our senses.
